cookie notice

last updated: may 10, 2026

summary

This Cookie Notice explains how Glizzy ('we', 'us', or 'our') uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website at glizzyapp.com and within our mobile app.

This notice should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal information more broadly.

what are cookies

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs) on mobile devices. For simplicity, this notice refers to all of these as 'cookies'.

what cookies we use

At launch, Glizzy uses a minimal set of essential cookies and similar technologies needed to operate the Service. These include:

  • Authentication cookies that keep you signed in to your account on the web (such as the Glizzy admin dashboard)
  • Security cookies that help us detect and prevent fraudulent activity
  • Functional storage used by the mobile app to remember your preferences and session state on your device

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies on our website at launch. If we add these in the future (for example, to support analytics tools or in-app advertising), we will update this notice and, where required, request your consent before doing so.

third-party cookies

When you sign in to Glizzy using Apple or Google, those providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control these cookies.

When you make a purchase, Apple and our payment processor RevenueCat may use cookies and similar technologies as part of processing your payment, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Third-party privacy notices: Apple at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/en-ww/, Google at https://policies.google.com/privacy, RevenueCat at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.

how to control cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can usually find these settings in the 'Options', 'Preferences', or 'Settings' menu of your browser. You can choose to block or delete cookies, but doing so may affect the functionality of the Service.

On mobile, you can reset advertising identifiers and limit ad tracking through your device's settings (under 'Privacy' or 'Privacy & Security' on iOS).

You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating advertisers at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

do-not-track

Some browsers offer a 'Do Not Track' feature that signals to websites you visit that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. Because no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this notice.

updates to this notice

We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated version will be indicated by a revised 'Last updated' date at the top of this notice.

If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies, we will update this notice and provide additional information about your choices at that time.
