If you are a resident in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, then these countries may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than one month past the termination of your account.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not possible (for example, because your information is stored in backup archives), we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
10. how we keep your information safe
We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
We cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from the Service is at your own risk. You should only access the Service within a secure environment.

By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to the minor's use of the Service. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under age 18, please contact us at privacy@glizzyapp.com.
12. your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence in the US, or in some regions such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada, you have rights that allow you greater access to and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time.
In some regions (such as the EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Canada), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, to request rectification or erasure, to restrict processing, to data portability, and not to be subject to automated decision-making. In certain circumstances, you may also have the right to object to processing.
If a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is made solely by automated means, we will inform you, explain the main factors, and offer a simple way to request human review.
We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws. If you are located in the EEA or UK and believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your Member State data protection authority or UK data protection authority. Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account from our active databases, though we may retain some information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce our legal terms, or comply with legal requirements.
Cookies and similar technologies. Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though this may affect certain features. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. For more information, see our Cookie Notice at https://glizzyapp.com/cookies.
If you have questions or comments about your privacy rights, email us at privacy@glizzyapp.com.
13. do-not-track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ('DNT') feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized.
As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice. California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals; because there is currently no industry or legal standard, we do not respond to them at this time.
